Black Bottom Pecan Pie From Bonnie
Line a pie tin with an unbaked pie shell.
Mix the fudge filling on medium:
2 eggs 3/4 c sugar 1/4 c cocoa 3 T butter 1/2 t vanilla pinch of salt
Pour into unbaked pie shell, bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Mix the pecan filling on medium: 1/4 c sugar 2 eggs 1/2 c light corn syrup 1 T butter 1 t vanilla
Once mixed, stir in 1c whole pecans.
Pour over cooked fudge filling, and return to oven. Bake 350 for another 30-35 minutes.
