Lemon Snowballs

Makes about two dozen.

 1 c sweet butter		
 2 t grated lemon rind
 1/2 c confectioners' sugar	     
 3/4 c cornstarch
 1/4 t salt
 1 c finely chopped toasted blanched almonds

Frosting:

 1 c confectioners' sugar	
 1 T lemon juice
 2 T melted sweet butter
 Combine in bowl and beat until smooth

Cream butter and sugar.

Add flour sifted with cornstarch and salt.

Mix in the lemon rind.

Shape into 1" balls and roll in chopped nuts, pressing the nuts into the dough.

Bake for about 15 minutes at 350 on greased cookie sheets.

Cool on wire rack.

Drizzle frosting over cookies.
