Scones

 2 c self rising flour				
 2 t baking powder				
 1/4 c sugar			
 1 stick margarine
 3/4 c dried cranberries
 1/4 - 1/2 c milk

(make self rising flour)

Sift or whisk together flour, baking powder and sugar

Cut in margarine

Stir cranberries

Pull together with milk until moldable but not too damp.

Form into a flat circle and cut into 8 slices.

Optionally brush with milk or egg wash.

Separate slices and bake for 12-15 minutes at 425 until slightly browned.

Options: use 3/4 stick margarine, 1 beaten egg and 1/2 c cream (in which case bake at 450 for 15 minutes).
